Golden Star Announces Pricing of US$75 million Common Share Offering - "Golden Star Resources Ltd. ("Golden Star" or the "Company") (TSX:GSC - News)(AMEX:GSS - News)(GSE: GSR) today announced that it has priced an offering (the "Offering") of 20,000,000 common shares at a price of US$3.75 per share for gross proceeds of US$75,000,000. The Company has granted the underwriters an option, exercisable for a period of 30 days following the closing of the Offering, to purchase up to 3,000,000 additional common shares at a price of US$3.75 per share for additional gross proceeds of US$11,250,000, to cover over-allotments, if any."
